Our Release Engineering Division works as a link between the different areas of your company.

For example, our engineers work on the transfer of a product from the development division to the production areas or are dispatched by the contractor at the client’s production sites.

They advise and look after the clients at their production sites (‘on site’). They compile problem solutions with regard to the client requirements, give evaluations and analyses and pass these on to the contractor’s specialist divisions.

Our engineers coordinate and supervise the customer projects from planning to the release of parts in series production. The implementation of client requirements is supervised for the projects and we work closely with your project managers.

Our engineers’ tasks include, among others, the responsible development and release of vehicle components. They develop specifications for suppliers as well as for neighbouring construction areas. They evaluate trial and test results and initiate corresponding constructive measures. They control and monitor the product and development costs, investments, timing and other technical requirements.

They are the technical reference point and work closely with other construction and development divisions and suppliers. They are constantly developing our relationship with the clients, particularly in the production, purchasing and development divisions.

TEST & INTEGRATION

Our clients demand high quality and this requires 100% functional reliability.

Although we have simulations today, each technical development still requires a test phase, validation phase and securing phase – albeit with a reduced scope – to ensure all functional states and operational conditions for long-term sustainability over the whole life cycle.

In the overall vehicle more and more mechatronic systems and their controls are constantly being integrated, which require an intensive validation of the software parameters. These results can only be obtained and optimised with systematic test and trial phases.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

When it comes to the term ‘Integrated Software Engineering’ we incorporate the following stages: the software development process, the process of modelling the accompanying architecture and the process of creating and implementing functional requirements. Furthermore, the software test itself and system operation.

Scriptech’s role is to develop vehicle control unit software and to support the full development process across the V model. This includes implementing functions considering aspects relevant to safety.

TEST BENCH / HIL SIMULATOR

The test bench is a solution for the validation of all control units and system functions in the automotive industry, which guarantees trustworthiness. We take a holistic approach to examine the underlying activity on the database or the individual systems in the automobile.

The test bench has created data, which has been embedded into the context so that it is immediately clear what is meant. Your data, processes and final applications are effectively protected. It is possible to manually or automatically reproduce the test at any time. The test bench enables a fast validation of results and optimises the test implementation to ensure maximum coverage.

The HiL simulator (hardware in the loop) is a method for testing and securing embedded systems for support during development and the early set up of machines and systems.

SYSTEM ENGINEERING

When developing complex products, system engineers bring everything together and monitor the whole process. Our system engineers are responsible for the analysis of client requirements, architecture and the design of complexly integrated systems. What’s more, they also look after and implement developed concepts. Another task component is the creation of the system requirements, the general requirements and the architecture. Our system engineers know the ISO 15288, ISO 15504 (SPICE), ISO/TS 16949, INCOSE Handbook inside out.

Thus, our system engineers ensure the reliability and further development of the company’s hardware and software. In collaboration with the operation team, they plan, install and configure the infrastructure (e.g. airbag, sensors, infotainment systems, etc.) and maintain these after their successful implementation. RETROFIT

Vehicle conversion; rebuilding procedures before dispatching the vehicles.

These procedures can take place during market launch if the vehicle production is continued in spite of missing or faulty parts (production line not halted). Vehicles are gathered in the factory and/or at the dispatch point and converted by our specialists according to authorised working and testing instructions. With Retrofit procedures we can rely on our years of extensive experience. SOFTWARE REFLASH

Scriptech is the engineering service provider that is performing the much needed software / bugfix Reflash for the vehicle and subcontractor industry across Europe. We will work where you need us. We update control units in vehicles and / or as individual parts with the newest software. Reflash can be implemented using CANcase, MDI and the ValueCAN 3 tool.

Our experienced Reflash software employees can offer you comprehensive advice as well as provide the relevant resources and solutions very quickly throughout Europe.
Our sphere of responsibility includes project management, coordinating the control units and/or the vehicles, sending in the right amount of Flash units and Reflash employees as quickly as possible and of course quality controlling of our Reflash.

For the purposes of quality control, our engineers will carry out a software test with the appropriate ECU software in collaboration with Dev / Val. We will also document the whole process using scan lists, securing all ECU data in a text file. We have all of the necessary CANcase, MDI and ValueCAN 3 tools.
